Special requests

To help you sit back and enjoy your flight, Luxair offers a number of special services.

Special meals

Luxair offers a certain number of special meals to meet your specific needs or desires. You will find below the different meal types you can order for your flight. Remember to ask for your special meal when making your reservation either in your travel agency or at the Luxair Call Center.

Please note that with beginning of the summer season 2009 (01.04.2009) the offer of special meals will be reduced to the following special meals on all LuxairTours flights (except Metropolis):

  • Child meal
  • Diabetic meal
  • Gluten free meal (in this case breakfast is replaced by a fruit platter)
  • Vegetarian meal (non dairy)

 

Travelling with animals

Live animals travelling in cabin (lap-dogs, cats or birds) - WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LONDON CITY, animals in cabin are accepted on Luxair flights if the animal and the container do not exceed 5kg. The number of animals allowed on board depends on the aircraft type so remember to specify this at the time of your booking.

Remember that you must provide the container for the animal and it should not exceed 45x35x17cm.

Please also note that lap-dogs, cats or birds to/via the United Kingdom must travel as freight.

Luxair reserves the right to refuse to transport animals for any reason (these may include security reasons or legal reasons).
